Eucalyptus profiles are made with the best Eucalyptus Globulus timber, 100% heartwood coming from old trees over 45cm of diameter (18 inches). Only straight grain is accepted and all the pieces are knots-free. The result is a wood profile with a high density (over 800Kg/m3) and the best mechanical properties. The levels of resistance, hardness and durability of the Eucalyptus Globulus profiles are higher than those reached by solid Oak beans.

Due to its high quality, the profiles are mainly used for window carpentry, wood turning and also for structural purposes. The Eucalyptus Profiles are hardwood beans formed by at least three lams. The profile quality is related to the use of finger-joint lams:

• The best quality has no visible finger-joint in the extreme lams of the profile. It is mainly used for window carpentry and wood turning.
• The standard quality has visible finger-joint and it is suitable for all purposes.

The dimensions of the eucalyptus profile can be set by the customer, but it is usually limited to the following specifications:

• Thickness can be between 70 and 320mm, but it is possible to supply other dimensions on demand.
• Width is usually between 70 and 140mm, which is the maximal width due to technical limitations.
• Maximal length reaches 2.500mm when entire pieces are required, and up to 9.000mm for Eucalyptus Profles made with finger-joint planks.
