Oak Firewood
Oak trees have been growing in the north west of Spain and Portugal for hundreds of years. Currently up to 10% of the forest area of the region is covered with this specie offering a firewood which is probably the best one to feed a fireplace: the higher calorific power, the lower emissions of smoke and most easy wood to burn.
Eucalyptus Firewood
Eucalyptus firewood is an alternative to Oak firewood. Due to its high density, which is over 800Kg/m3, it is very suitable as fuel. The heat power of Eucalyptus Globulus trees firewood is higher than the one from Oak trees, and it is also a raw material which is easy to split and to burn.
